An Arrangement of Chairs
A collaboration with Marie Otsuka, these images are part of a series of site-specific interventions in a room typically reserved for critiques. Using only what could be foud in the space when it’s not in use—a few folding chairs, the holes left by tacks in the wall, the curtains casting shadows on the floor, and trash left behind after a critique—installations were left in the space for visitors to engage with. Chairs were arranged according to various modes of conversation.
